Cindy F. Sherman

Cindy Sherman was born in Montgomery, Alabama and graduated from Jefferson Davis High School.  She attended Troy State University in Troy, Alabama where she studied Business and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority.  Other schools attended include Massey Draughon Business School, Jones Law School, and Auburn University Montgomery.

In 1975-1979, Cindy worked as Executive Secretary for Alabama Attorney Generals William Baxley and Charles Graddick.  She left the workforce to raise her two (2) children and began a home typing service. In 1994, she reentered the workforce as lab coordinator for Auburn University Montgomery School of Nursing (AUMSN) and later became a faculty advisor for the AUMSN.  Her job also included working as Assistant Project Coordinator for the March of Dimes (grant).  In 2001, Cindy worked as Executive Assistant for the Alabama Multifamily Loan Consortium.  In 2002, she was employed as Executive Secretary for John Stanley & Associates, Inc. 

Cindy is married to Richard (Rick) L. Sherman, Jr. and has two (2) children (Richard and Cresta) who live in Montgomery.
